Abstract

Technological changes and economical evaluation of opencast mining in the Vršanská Uhelná Company is the main topic of this thesis. Currently the continual mining technology is used. General information about this mining locality is presented in the first part of this thesis. Specific possibilities are described as well. The next part deals with mining methods that are used in this area now. The specific discontinual technology that can substitute continual one is described in the third part. The analyze of technological and economical aspects of the change is in the conclusion.
