Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the basics for the ecological analysis of the invasive plant species Solidago canadensis, growing in the environment of the slag and fly ash waste pond in Třinec – Dolní Líštná. The theoretical part characterizes the interest area in terms of the origin, use and description of the waste pond and its natural conditions. There is also mentioned the issue of non-native species and ecological invasions, especially in Czech Republic, and a significant part is devoted to various characteristics and description of the studied species Canadian goldenrod (Solidago canadensis). The practical part is focused on the methodology of the field and laboratory work, description of the studied areas, methods of data analysis in the JUICE and Turboveg programs as well as the process of determination of plant associations. The results here are described for the individual areas and for the surveyed biotopes, too.
