Návrh a realizace systému pro polohování předních světlometů

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a simplified system for positioning front headlights, which demonstrates the basic principles of adaptive vehicle lighting. As part of the work, a model of a headlight was created with the possibility of rotation using a DC motor, the position of which is sensed by a potentiometer. Furthermore, the system was expanded with an accelerometer for detecting changes in tilt. The control unit of the project is the Arduino Nano V3 microcontroller, which enables communication with the vehicle's CAN bus via the SPI-CAN module. The program created in the Arduino IDE environment ensures control of the position of the headlights based on the specified parameters. The resulting functional model can serve as a teaching or demonstration tool for presenting the principles of adaptive lighting in the automotive industry.
