Abstract

This thesis presents in the first part explanation of concepts such as process, project, process management and methodology for process optimization. Furthermore, the basic characteristics of packaging materials and material flow management in the automotive industry. The second part offers a description of the handling process of packaging equipment in the selected company. This process is mapped in ARIS Business Architect and subsequently evaluated. The last part of the thesis offers suggestions for improvement and optimization of the process.
