Využití vody v oblasti vodní nádrže Fláje v Krušných horách

Abstract

The presented work deals with the unique region of the middle Krušné hory mountains, especially the area between water reservoirs Fláje and Rauschenbach, where water resources are used since the beginning of colonization. To better understand the importance of water resources, the thesis provides characterization of the area by terms of hydrology and outlines the nature of the interaction between the mining and metallurgy, timber harvesting and utilization of water resources in the past. As a contrast is presented modern water reservoir Fláje, Rauschenbach, their mutual comparison and influence in the hydrological point of view. To reveal the touristic potential, old and new waterprojects and their related landmarks are mapped.
