Abstract

This master thesis is focused on the analysis and increased efficiency of material flows of selected GENIO product in BORCAD cz s.r.o. The theoretical part describes the concepts of logistics, production management and material flows. There is a definition of the various instruments and methods applicable in this field. The practical part of this thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of selected logistics processes, proposals for improving the efficiency of material flows and economic evaluation of proposed solutions. To optimize material flows, the Sankey diagram methods were used using a checkerboard. The proposed solution has succeeded in reducing material flows by 10%, reducing the handling demands by almost 91% and improving storage utilization by 88%.
