Abstract
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to consider the possibility of accumulation of electric power. The suggestion is the question how to accumulate efficiently superfluous power during excess period in accordance with possible conditions, and how to use energy accumulated the best way when necessary.
The work is divided into several parts. The first part introduces the basic concepts concerning mechanical and electrochemical batteries. The following part deals with the categorization of batteries according to the principle of function, use, and technology, and also provides a basic overview of features, advantages, and disadvantages of individual accumulation systems. The main part includes selection of an appropriate battery using the AHP paired comparison. The aim is to design a suitable battery for alternative electric power source, which is photovoltaic power in this work. The next section contains an analysis of the specific area of photovoltaic power influence; on the basis of this information the energy of the accumulator is designed. The content of the conclusion includes summary of all the pieces of knowledge.
