Změna klimatu a mimořádné události s dopadem na činnosti vykonávané HZS ČR

Abstract

The Diploma Thesis describes climate development up to the present day and the trends for the future from a global, continental and national point of view. It covers emergencies resulting from these trends – floods, drought, windstorms, excessive snowfall and ice formation, along with the activities of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic (FRS CR) carried out during these situations. In response to the anticipated climate change trends the Diploma Thesis deals with the possibility of the continuing improvement of the existing system of the FRS CR and potential adjustments in territorial coverage within the Czech Republic. Simultaneously, it focuses on the technical equipment of the fire-fighting units.
