Abstract

This work has as main objective to point the main advantages of probabilistic Human Reliability Assessment (HRA) and present the approaches used for this type of analysis. Here is defined the concept of human error and the basic human errors are classified. The multidisciplinary approach to the issue is used for the best description. There is also a comparison of approaches to this theme applied in the Czech Republic and in the world and the procedures how to perform these analysis. The work gives the brief description and comparison of the basic methods for which quantitative data about the human reliability are used (especially THERP, SLIM-MAUD and ETA).
