Porovnanie požiarno-technických charakteristík chemicky čistých látok a ich zmesí prostredníctvom metódy spaľovacej mikrokalorimetrie

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on identifying changes in the fire-technical characteristics of chemically pure substances (PE, PP, PS, PC, ABS) and their mutual (mechanically prepared) mixtures using the combustion microcalorimetry method. Attention is given to the differences in the Heat Release Rate, Total Heat Release and Temperature of Maximum Heat Release of the plastics. The microscale combustion method, in accordance with ASTM D 7309, provides a means to determine fire-technical characteristics that require only a milligram-scale samples. Finally, the thesis compares measured results with available literature and highlights the impact of mixing quality and interactions between substances on the resulting fire safety.
