Organizování velké sportovní akce - Zumbamaraton

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the organization of a big sport event, namely the zumbamarathon. I described issues connected to organizing such an event, including the description of advantages and disadvantages of holding the event at two different venues. The questionnaire included in the thesis confirms public interest in participating in zumbamarathon. Included in the thesis is a list of terms that are related to the topic and are used throughout the text. The following part deals with the organization process itself including the detailed budget, date of the event, choice of a suitable venue or hiring trained instructors. In the thesis I used two different techniques - a questionnaire to find out, if there is enough people interested in participating in such an event, and the SWOT analysis to compare advantages and disadvantages of two possible venues. In the last part I suggest some improvements to the leadership of sport lessons and bigger events. The aim of the thesis was to analyse all relevant issues related to managing such an event. I believe that all the necessary topics are covered in this thesis.
