Intenzifikace procesu odsíření oceli v pánvové peci

Abstract

The main aim of this thesis was to analyze the findings from the field of intensification of process desulphurization of steel in ladle furnace. Therefore, in this work the attention is devoted to secondary metallurgy of steel and its methods. Especially, the thesis focuses on possibilities of processing (refining) of steel in the ladle furnace and on desulphurization process which is necessary for the production of the steel in required qualities. Analysis of global knowledge of intensification of desulphurization process mentions the possibility of desulphurization process in the steel plant polish ALSTOM, in steel plant in Slovakia Železiarne Podbrezová a. s. ironworks, steelworks KAWASAKI (KSC). Part of the chapter is also indicated the possibility of using hybrid modeling (neural networks) in the desulphurization process.
