The Bachelor thesis is focused on flood protection of selected waterworks. The thesis is divided into several chapters, introductory part is mentioning the terms related to this subject, furthermore some fundamental floods in the Czech Republic are mentioned and an integral part is a legislative frame of the crisis and water sectors. Furthermore, the thesis describes water and sewer systems as well as some of the risks associated with the floods. The main part of the thesis specifies the flood protection of selected objects and line buildings. In the final part, I propose some measures to improve flood protection.
