Zhotovení krbových hodin inspirovaných kubismem

Abstract

The content of my bachelor thesis is aimed at cubism, mainly at its architecture and useful arts. The scheme of mantelpiece clock inspired by cubism was made for making the steel cast of bachelor thesis. Design of the clock is a creation of finding shapes with the spirit of cubism. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practial. The first part is marginally touching the time and civilisation while it slightly crosses to cubism painting and to cubism in the Czech lands. This part involves architecture as well as useful arts. The practical part summarizes whole manufacturing process of making bronze cast. The practical part contains designing the model in CAD software, form making and final casting of the cast, final surface adjustments included.
