VARCHOLÁK, Michal. The Evaluation Methodology Protective Factors Building Community Centers. Ostrava, 2015, 71 pages. Diploma thesis. VŠB – Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering. Supervisor: doc. Dr. Ing. Michail Šenovský. The aim of this thesis is to design the Evaluation methodology protective factors building community centers, that would assist in civil protection using shelters. This thesis deals with the identification and naming of community centres' risks. The thesis also pursues the research of civil protection methodological instructions for the evaluation of the buildings' resistance. For the purpose of this thesis, the theoretical analysis of two processes has been done, namely a bomb attack with a dangerous substance inside community center buildings, and the possibility of building up improvised shelters in community centre buildings. One of the outcomes of this work is the proposal of modified methodology for calculation of the coefficient of protection and length of stay in the community centre buildings. In order to verify the modified methodology, the calculations were applied on the community centre building Forum Nová Karolina.
