Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of organized crime in Mexico, and its impact on the Mexican economy and society. In particular, it identifies the main forms of organized crime in Mexico, such as the operation of criminal cartels or corruption, and analyzes their specific effects on the economic development and social stability of the country.
