Abstract

Gerontology is the science that deals with problems of aging and old age. About the problem of aging populations everywhere one goes, it's a global problem. Aging is a complicated march. Affects everyone regardless of gender, profession, wealth or nationality. But everyone ages differently, each at their own pace. Aging is a lifelong process. Aging is not reversed, only slowed down. The world starts grow more and more elderly people. For countries that mean spending more money on pensions, for youth it is a signal to start saving for the future of these pensions in the future because the state does not have money for them. My bachelor work deals with the issue of population aging and its impact on travel habits, what were the travel habits before 1989 and those habits after this year. Travel habits are changing throughout life, are influenced by the environment around us, the closest people, lifestyles, but also the financial situation, political situation, the surroundings. Procedure lifecycle prefer different customs and other places. The theoretical part deals with the concept of tourism - a concept, legislation, development of tourism in 2009 and its trends. Next I attended the general issue of aging and its impact on travel, senior tourism and demographic aspects of aging. The practical part is focused on pension reform - what are the conditions for obtaining a pension, time periods of pension insurance or what is the retirement age. In conclusion of my thesis I addend SWOT analysis on a given subject.
