Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the usage of a mobile computing cluster based on the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX platform. The objective was to implement a set of parallel demonstration tasks and analyze their behavior within a power-efficient ARM architecture. The thesis covers the implementation and evaluation of a numerical π calculation, the ESPRESO engineering library, and standardized HPL and HPCG benchmarks. The solution also includes an automated data collection system and its visualization using the Grafana tool. The experimental results demonstrate the limitations and capabilities of the tested hardware, particularly concerning the scalability of distributed computing combined with GPU acceleration.
