Abstract

This thesis presents the detailed design documentation for a residential apartment building located in Slezská Ostrava, Czech Republic. The primary focus is on the comprehensive detailing of architectural plans, main support structures, and civil engineering works. Key aspects of the project include the preparation of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for joinery, locksmith, and plumbing elements, as well as the design of reinforced concrete strip foundations. This document outlines the preliminary approach to the design process, emphasizing the major stages involved in the construction. While the complete design and construction of a residential building is a lengthy process, this thesis discusses the initial stages and critical aspects in detail, providing a foundation for further development and implementation.
