Abstract

The bachelor thesis is based on my internship experience with Škoda Auto Company. The thesis deals with the testing of radionavigation systems and their implementation to production Škoda Auto cars. Also, it studies the theoretical side of the performance of the whole system and describes practical tests and testing scenarios used in simulation environment GEWI. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the RDS-TMC system structure, its performance and whether it is used by common customer in Czech Republic as well as in foreign countries. The practical part provides a suggestion of the usage of the testing scenarios describes whether the system functions properly in normal traffic and summarizes all the given results.
