Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the problems of rural tourism development in the Vsetínsko Mikroregion as an important factor in maintaining the integrity of local nature and living conditions in rural areas of this region. The first part deals with general problems of rural tourism, its forms, and services. The practical part is focused on the definition and characteristics of the studied area based on implementing, selective and localizating assumptions. Subsequently, a comprehensive analysis of rural tourism development in the Vsetínsko Mikroregion and its potential in terms of various possibilities and forms of rural tourism was made.
