Předmětem diplomové práce je provedení komplexní architektonické studie muzea totalitních režimů v Praze. Samotnému návrhu stavby předchází analytická část, ve které jsou definovány dílčí urbanistické, historické a typologické jevy související se zadáním. Na základě získaných informací byla vypracována nová koncepce zástavby městské části Praha Karlín a to včetně terénní úpravy břehu řeky Vltavy. Cílem práce je nalezení vhodného prostoru pro umístění a následný návrh multifunkčního výstavního prostoru. Ten svojí náplní posiluje erudici společnosti a současně edukační činností aktivně reaguje na její vývojový stav.

The subject of the diploma thesis is to perform a complex architectural study of the Museum of Totalitarian Regimes in Prague. The design itself is preceded by an analytical part, which defines partial urban, historical and typological phenomena related to the assignment. On the basis of the information obtained, a new concept for the development of the Prague Karlín district was developed, including the landscaping of the Vltava River. The aim of the thesis is to find a suitable space for placement and subsequent design of the multifunctional exhibition space. With its content, the exhibition space will both strengthen the erudition of the society and actively respond to its developmental state by providing educational activities.
