Abstract
This bachelor thesis examines issue of machines and equipments safe shutdown from the hazardous energy sources before or during them maintenance, repairing works and revision in ArcelorMittal Ostrava, Coking plant. The first part deals with the legal requirements of national legal regulations in the Czech Republic and AMO goals in occupational safety. Next section contains statistics of injuries in AMO, analysis of last serious injuries and the facts about energy isolation during these injuries. The last section about selected security system with its implementation requirements and concrete examples of using this system on various energy sources.
