Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to design and to evaluate the steel part of the load-bearing system of skyscraper based on the architectural study. As part of its processing, the created global numerical model of the structure is described in detail, which is loaded by common types of loads according to EC, including the effects of seismicity and wind, which is determined by wind flow around the structure. Part of the thesis is also the design and assessment of the reliability of the load-bearing system of the selected floor according to the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state. The RFEM software system is used to create a numerical model and for calculation of the load-bearing system of the analyzed high-rise building, and the effects of wind are then investigated in the RWIND program. Tools for the assessment of load-bearing column elements, load calculation and wind simulation control are made by author of thesis.
