Abstract

This thesis is managed in conjunction with the Bang & Olufsen Company. The aim is to propose and realise a device which generates four harmonious signals and processes data from four accelerometers. Versatility and the user-friendly operation are the main objectives. The device is controlled by the Freescale controller programmed using the C-programming language and is operated using a personal computer with the LabVIEW virtual instrumentation environment called. The device is able to process the data from different kinds of accelerometers and to generate harmonic signals with a defined phase difference and adjustable amplitude and frequency. Basic functions of vibration measurement, accelerometers and the realisation of hardware and software applications are described in the thesis. The result is, together with the diploma thesis, a universal and usable module for internal needs of the Bang & Olufsen Company.
