Privatizace v České republice na příkladu vybraných firem

Abstract

This bachelor thesis occupies with the privatization of state properties, which was in progress in two main waves in years 1992-1994. The privatization was the major instrument for the change from the centrally planned economy to the market economy. It was necessary to find new owners as the state wasn’t able to manage companies effectively. In the second chapter, I describe causes of economic transformation and its course, goals, methods and process. In the third chapter, I compare planned goals with results of privatization on the example of chosen companies, both successful and unsuccessful companies that were in great debts or were tunneled by their new owners. In the last chapter, I deal with given subject from journalist view.
