Abstract

In my dissertation on the theme „European monetary union and and Czech republic“ I analyze effects related with implementation single european currency with application on the Czech republic. The aim of this work is disclose possible costs or benefits and also analyse observance of convergence criteria by the Czech republic. First of all I focus on European monetary union in a common way. I charekterize common monetary policy in the EU and introduce its principles, instruments and also historic connections of this policy. The next explanation is directed to the monetary policy in Czech republic. Here I charekterize its making, activities and eims. Very important is also analysis of convergence kriteria with aplication on the Czech republic. Last part of my dissertation is detailed analyses costs and benefits related with implementation single european currency.
