Abstract
The master thesis deals with optimization of foundry core production using Croning method for the production of moulded components in the Czech company Brembo. The theoretical part focuses on the second generation binders and methods used for the production of foundry cores. The practical part concentrates on three kinds of core mixtures distributed by different suppliers. Moreover, it observes the impact of core mixture quality on mechanical properties of foundry cores. Furthermore, it examines the influence of foundry core storage on mechanical properties of mixture. Finally, it focuses on gas conditions of foundry cores that affect internal and external quality of moulded components.
