Abstract

The aim of this work is a general presentation of non-profit organizanitions, description of selected non-profit organization´s operation which is the Volunteer Centre ADRA Frýdek-Místek and comparing revenues and expenses to find economic result. The main activity of selected volunteer centre, which is a branch of Civic association ADRA, is to realize voluntary programs in organizations working with children, young people, seniors and disabled. First part of bachelor thesis deals with non-profit sector from a theoretical part of view. The second part is devoted to description of volunteer centre´s operation and its economy analysis which is focused on the analysis of total revenues and expenses for period 2008 – 2012. In the last part of bachelor thesis is summary of total revenues and expenses, their comparing and economy result revealing.
