Analýza profilu návštěvníků města Uherské Hradiště

Abstract

The theme of my thesis is Analysis of profile visitors in the city Uherské Hradiště. I chose the theme, because I am interested in the problems of tourism in the city and also the possibility to analyse a visitor, who arrives in Uherské Hradiště. The main aim of my thesis is to obtain information about tourists, who visit the city and to get the resulting profile visitor in the city. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The first part focuses on the theory of tourism. I define the basic terms. I characterize various types and forms of tourism. I describe the types of participants and tourism services. Then I focus on tourism in the Czech Republic. In the practical part I first characterize the selected area. Then I concentrate on the analysis. To obtain the needed information, I have used the method of questioning. Questionnaires were completed by a hundred of visitors. The analysis shows, that there is a very low number of tourists in Uherské Hradiště except the main season. The result is the following visitor profile: age up to 50 years, completed GCE education, the visitor arrives by car with a partner or friends, in the city stays 3-7 days. The main reason to visit Uherské Hradiště is a sightseeing or business. The visitor plans to return to the city. Is satisfied with the services in the city. He obtained city information on the Internet or from promotional materials. Results of the analysis can help in tourism marketing planning.
