Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the properties of magnesium alloys and their use for castings. It consists of a theoretical part, which begins distribution and properties of magnesium alloys. It also describes the technology of casting production and use of products from past to present in the automotive and aerospace industries. The main job description is a summary of findings and literary analysis of the properties of magnesium alloys.
