Abstract
In the first part of my bachelor thesis I deal with AD / DA converters and comparing the parameters of sound cards. I used RightMark Audio software for comparison of sound cards. The next part deals with audio signals, their processing, principal of digitization and use, acoustic emissions and its diagnostics, spectral analysis, measuring of power spectral density by using the sound card in Matlab and analysis of data obtained through this program.
