Zásady modernizace pasportní evidence železničního svršku v České republice

Abstract

One of the most significant assets of the Railway Administration Office (SŽDC) - government organization is the railway superstructure forming the railway track which is carrying and conducting the railway vehicles. The objects of the railway superstructure and their order are recorded in the files that are a part of the SŽDC´s information system. The record is usually kept in the digital form with the use of unified specialized software. Current goal of the SŽDC is to modernize the railway superstructure passport record. This opens the possiblity to evaluate current systems and propose principles for the modernization. Based on the thorough analysis of the systems and principles of the railway superstructure passport record in the Czech Republic this thesis identifies the problems of contemporary practice. Based on the presented experiment the thesis suggests principles contributing to solving of the current problems and further development in the future. Furthermore the thesis proposes principles of modernization which will change the understanding of the passport record only as the record of property containing hundreds of thousands of data about the railway superstructure that is familiar only to the passport administrator, but will be understood also as a powerful utility for effective planning of maintenance and future development of the railway as a whole.
