Abstract
Measurement of LED characteristics in automotive industry
This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part it refers to issue of measuring photometric and colorimetric quantities of LED in automotive industry. Including description of the requirements for automotive lamps through types, principles and use of light sources and measuring methods of automobile lamp.
The practical part is focused on the analysis of LED characteristics obtained by the measurement made on automotive lamps in Hella Autotechnik s.r.o. Mohelnice. Measurements are focused on development testing of LED light sources and lamps prototypes. The measurement itself is preceded by a description and explanation of the selected measurement methods.
The aim of the thesis is to get familiar with requirements for lamps in automotive industry, methods of verification and deepening knowledge of the behavior of LED in the form of evaluating measurement to the effort of inventiveness.
