Abstract

This thesis deals with the issues of the internal government of the Šumperk municipal office, its management and financing in the years 2006 – 2009. Closer it focuses on the registry office. The theoretical part classifies local governments within the system of the public administration, describes the basic principles, definitions and structure of the public administration.

The internal government and the municipal registry activities of the Šumperk municipal office are evaluated using two criterions. The first criterion is the percentage of the pending applications of the registry office; the second criterion is the financial evaluation of the registry office compared with the whole municipal office and internal government.
