Abstract
This Thesis focuses on the characteristics of degrading effects of various material surfaces. First part is dedicated to the origin, different types and causes of corrosion. Then I focus on the individual stages of the metal surface rust repair and rust prevention. Lastly, this thesis explains the different types of waste that originated during the surface rust repair, the storage and the proper disposal of such hazardous waste.
