Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issues of financing and budget process at the Police of the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to describe the chosen organisation, Police of the Czech Republic and Regional Directorate of the Moravian-Silesian Region and its financing and budget process within these organizations. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the organization in general. On the basis of gained knowledge and information, it describes the process of creating the state budget in general and then in the particular organization. The practical part aims at the description of the Regional Directorate of the Moravian-Silesian Region and the structure of its financing. The work also describes the relationship between the incomes and expenditures of the budget of the Police of the Czech Republic. In the final chapter, the work evaluates how the budget is processed, and it suggests some improvements of this process.
