Návrh a praktická realizace specifického dopravního značení pro C-ITS aplikace

Abstract

This thesis deals with the design and practical implementation of variable traffic signage integrated into the C-ITS cooperative intelligent transportation system. The aim of the thesis was to create a functional prototype based on the ESP32 microcontroller and RGB LED technology, capable of responding in real time to messages compliant with the ETSI ITS-G5 standard. As part of the software solution, an orchestrator was developed on the RSU infrastructure unit side, which extracts relevant data from received PDUs, validates the integrity of events, and subsequently distributes instructions to activate warning services via the MQTT protocol. Furthermore, control software capable of communicating with the infrastructure unit and displaying symbols on the control module side was developed. As part of the hardware solution, an embedded system control module and its printed circuit board were developed. The result is a prototype modular system capable of enhancing safety at critical traffic locations within modern connected infrastructure.
