Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis "Proposal of the Local Operational Safety Code of the warehouse for the airport operation" is the development of the proposal of the safety code. The theoretical part deals with the issue of warehousing, its function and importance, including warehouse management and warehouse materials. The risk management chapter deals with their assessment, identification including methods, analysis, evaluation, and treatment. The practical part deals with risk identification, analysis, assessment, and description of warehouse. Following the risk assessment, a local warehouse operational safety transcript was created for the new warehouse premises of Ostrava Airport, a.s. Apart from the safety code, other recommendations for improving safety in the workplace are elaborated in the bachelor thesis.
