Abstract
Diploma thesis analyzes measurement results of the quantity and distribution of aerosol and nanoparticles produced during various methods of wood processing such as chiselling (drilling), cutting, milling and grinding. The results were obtained primarily for exotic wood (Ipé, Jatoba, Massaranduba, Merbau, Bangkirai and Faveira), which were supplemented by domestic wood (spurce, oak).
A microscopic analysis of the composition of dust particles produced was carried out for grinding process.
Thesis describes respirator efficiency testing. The respirator efficiency was proofed for varied exotic woods and during different machinist activities.
