Abstract

This Thesis deals with utilization, operation, and maintenance of special equipments used to extinguish forest fires in the Moravian-Silesian Region. First, it focuses on characteristics of forest and field fires. Here is the problem solved by statistic overview of events. For example there were observed influence of weather for number of events in 2015. Next part examines special technology in terms of operation, repairs, and operational controls. In this part is presented summary of edited data from operational log. At the base of summary is on term of service life of the vehicles and the main time between failure defined for the Krnov’s vehicle time 5,4 hour. This time is the reason for replacement of the vehicles which are presented at the end of the thesis.
