Abstract
This bachelor's thesis focuses on testing a suitable penetration needle and force for measuring the calcination of plasterboards. The main objective is to recommend a suitable penetration needle and applied force for measuring calcination using a technical device, based on laboratory testing. In the practical part, penetration needles with various types of tips were tested on five selected types of plasterboard. The samples were subjected to thermal exposure in a muffle furnace, followed by a penetration test using a sharp, semi-sharp, and blunt tip. The thermal stress tests demonstrated that there is no clearly measurable boundary between the damaged and undamaged layers of the material, as the material's strength decreased throughout the entire cross-section of the board. For the technical device used in the field practice of investigators, a semi-sharp tip and an applied force of 10 newtons proved to be the most suitable, ensuring consistent results.
