Abstract

The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical description of continuous steel casting, which is the main topic of the thesis. In the second part, cost management in the field of continuous steel casting was described. Subsequently, information regarding the costs and calculation of the monitored department was outlined. The subject of the practical part was assessing the effect of sequencing on costs and production indicators arising during continuous steel casting. Subsequently, the possible direction and conditions leading to the reduction of costs and the increase of the efficiency of the monitored department were outlined.
