Analýza využití NI produktů ve spojení s testovacím prostředím „Robot Framework“ pro automatizované testování sensorů Leuze

Abstract

The object of this thesis is to analyse the possibilities of linking NI products with the Robot Framework automated testing tool for the purpose of Leuze sensor testing. The connection was achieved using application interfaces for the NI DAQ-mx and NI VeriStand drivers implemented in Python. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the Robot Framework platform its internal layout and its extensibility for hardware testing. The second part of the theoretical part is a description of the hardware and software products of NI with focust to the description of their functions and application possibilities. The practical part describes the design and implementation of two test systems based on different NI product lines. The test systems fully integrate software tools developed specifically for particular platforms. The developed tools are described here in general terms with examples of use.
