Mariánské Lázně z hlediska cestovního ruchu

Abstract

This thesis describes historical events of Mariánské Lázně, their demographic and geographic data and outlines the current situation in the city. This thesis explains the genesis and importance of local medicinal waters, describes the curative processes, spa routes that are used as an accompanying element of treatment and also the importance of spa tourism in Mariánské Lázně is indicated. The thesis maps monuments, sites and other tourist attractions in the city and proposes a more attractive entry into a wider knowledge of selected lesser-known monuments and sites. Finally, the importance of the spa, its tourist features, mineral springs are expressed and selected sights are recommended.
