Abstract

The work deals with individual assessment and analysing problems of construction of high-rise buildings over sixty meters in case of fire safety. There is charakteristics of high-rise buildings and thein worldwide review in the introduction. In the next part, there is an evaluation of existing regulations in the Czech Republic, and thein framework assessment, technical and legal specifications in the United States, in the Russian Federation and in the selected countries in Europe. In conclusion there is evaluation of adequacy of legislative requirements in the Czech Republic, and own draft of the specifications for the projecting of these buildings, but there is also the concept of requirements applied in the actual construction.
