dc.description.abstract-enThe kinetics of Ti3Ni4 precipitation and changes of properties in Ti-50.5at.%Ni are discussed. Ti3Ni4 forms dominantly at grain boundaries when the defect density is low. Experimental data fit the Kolmogorov-Johnson-Mehl-Avrami relationship describing the reaction kinetics. Aging influences significantly properties of Ti-50.5at.%Ni.en
