Analýza vývoje tržních cen obchodu se zemním plynem a elektřinou v České republice v letech 2011 až 2021

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu tržních cen elektřiny a zemního plynu v České republice v letech 2011–2021. Autor v první části práce provádí analýzu globálních, evropských i regionálních trhů a faktorů, které měly v uvedením desetiletí vliv na cenu zemního plynu a elektrické energie a tím – i díky silné provázanosti obchodních vztahů v této oblasti – na cenu zemního plynu a elektřiny v České republice. Jako zásadní faktory jsou identifikovány změny celosvětové poptávky, ekonomický růst, exploatace nových nalezišť a ložisek, ale i geopolitické události. Ve druhé části práce je pak provedena základní charakteristika trhu s elektřinou a zemním plynem v České republice, identifikace klíčových účastníků trhu a analyzován cenový vývoj v letech 2011–2021, s přihlédnutím ke smluvním vztahům s koncovými odběrateli. Dále se práce zabývá cenovou politikou vůči retailovému trhu. Z analyticko – statistických metod je pro vybrané datové soubory využívána zejména regresní analýza k zjištění síly závislosti jednotlivých hodnot.

This bachelor thesis focuses on a market analysis of the prices of electricity and natural gas in the Czech Republic between 2011 and 2021. In the first part, the author analyses global, European and regional markets as well as factors which influenced the prices of natural gas and electricity in the decade concerned and thus – due to the strong interconnectedness of the business relationships in this field – also the prices of natural gas and electricity in the Czech Republic. Global supply chain changes, economic growth, the exploitation of new deposits as well as several geopolitical events have all been identified as crucial factors. The second part provides basic characteristics of the electricity and natural gas markets in the Czech Republic, identifies the key market participants and analyses price developments between 2011 and 2021 in connection with contractual relationships with end consumers. This thesis also looks into pricing policy in the face of the changing retail market. Of the various methods of statistical analysis, regression analysis was the one primarily used to establish the strength of dependence of individual values.
