Detekce spánkové apnoe z dechové křivky a pulzní oxymetrie

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a device for detecting sleep apnea syndrome. This device can serve as a preliminary alternative to the demanding polysomnography. Among other things, there is an effort to construct a device that offers the most comfortable measurement during sleep. Two parameters are measured by the device. The first one is the saturation of peripheral blood with oxygen, and the second one is the breathing curve. The number of larger breathing pauses in the hourly window around the sample is further derived from this curve. An evaluation algorithm using a fuzzy model was created to determine whether it is sleep apnea or not. The model was tested with both simulated data and real measurement data. After successful testing, measurements were carried out on the subjects. The final evaluation of all subjects is included in the appendix of this thesis.
