Přehled a hodnocení nástrojů pro modelování povodní

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with hydrological models that can be used for modeling of the flood situations. In the beginning there is an assessment of the current state of available instruments, folowed by a list of major floods that hit the Czech Republic. Other chapters are devoted to flood protection and describe the tasks of the responsible authorities during floods, before them and the recovery after the flood. There are also chapters about the hydrological modelling. Introduction of the most comprehensible models designed for this issue are introduced. In the practical part, these models are compared, folowed by recommendations and selection of appripiate models.
